At 0235 HRS. Truck 19 was alerted as part of the first alarm assignment in the 36-200 box. While en-route Captain 36 arrived with a working fire in an attached garage of a one and a half story duplex. Truck 19 was ordered to side A and send their crew to the roof. The truck arrived and setup sending its crew to the roof to start ventilation. The truck crew cut several holes in the roof for ventilation. The truck crew also operated its master streams to hit the fire and hot spots that weren't able to be hit from the interior. After several hours of serious salvage and overhaul the truck cleared the scene at 0531 HRS.
