Apparatus

Engine 19 is a 2004 Pierce Dash pumper. This apparatus responds as a structural engine. It's the first due engine on vehicle fires and second due on motor vehicle accidents. Engine 19 has a 2000 gpm Hale single stage pump with a 750 gallon booster tank. The apparatus also has a CAFS with 30 gallons AFFF and 20 gallons "A" foam cells. There is a 3600 watt Wiburt light tower on the cab and a 10kw Harrison generator. It also carries a combination hydraulic tool, Stihl chain saw, and various structural tools. The hose capacity is: 1000 feet of 5", 400 feet of 3", 300 feet of 2 1/2", and 1050 feet of 1 3/4".

 

Rescue 19 is the first out apparatus on all vehicle accidents and special rescue responses. Rescue 19 is a 1998 E-One Cyclone Pumper equipped with a 1500 gallon per minute Hale pump with a tank that holds 675 gallons of water and a second tank that holds 65 gallons of “A” foam. Rescue 19 also has an on board six tool Amkus rescue system with two pre-connected hydraulic lines for tools that can be in use within thirty seconds of arrival on the scene. Rescue 19 is equipped with seating for a driver, officer and up to five firefighters. The engine carries both three and five-inch water supply line, two-and-one half-inch attack line, two pre-connected one inch-and-three-quarter attack lines measuring 200 feet each, and one inch and three quarter bumper line 150 feet in length. Rescue 19 is also certified as a Quick Response Unit (QRS) equipped with a Automated External Defibrillator (AED), suction unit, and first in bag. The engine also has a remote telescoping light tower for nighttime calls. Rescue 19 also carries various hand tools for vehicle rescue, scene clean up and materials for spill control.

 

Truck 19 is the first out apparatus on all structure responses along with Engine 19. Truck 19 is a 1994 Spartan Firewolf equipped with a 105 foot tower ladder with two pre piped lines coming off the front of the bucket that can be operated simultaneously. Truck 19 also is equipped with a 1500 gallon per minute Waterous pump with a tank that holds 300 gallons of water. Truck 19 is equipped with seating for a driver, officer and up to four firefighters. The truck carries four inch water supply line, three pre-connected one inch and three quarter attack lines measuring 200 feet each, The truck also has various hand tools for structural fire fighting, electric cord reels, and portable lights for providing power and light to a scene, two K saws, and a chain saw. Truck 19 carries a hydraulic rescue tool. Truck 19 has various roof and extension ladders measuring from 14 feet up to 40 feet in height. Also on board are two negative pressure electric fans and one positive pressure gas fan for smoke or odor removal from structures.

 

Qrs 19/Service 19 is a multi-purpose vehicle. QRS/Service 19 is a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. Its first purpose is as a Quick Response Unit (QRS) on all class one medical calls. It is equipped with a Automated External Defibrillator (AED), suction unit and a first in bag with almost everything needed for patient stabilization. its second purpose is as a chase vehicle for all non-medical calls. QRS/Service 19 also can pull either a foam trailer loaded with extra containers of foam or an arrowstick trailer for traffic control.

 

Brush 19 is a 1988 Chevy 2500 4x4 that was purchased from a local doctor in the early 90's. The "skid load" was manufactured locally by a fabrication company and the fire department added the pump and plumbing. The brush carries 600 feet of forestry hose, 200 feet of 1 3/4 hose and has a 225 gallon booster tank.

 

Duty Officer 19 is a 1996 Chevy Suburban Diesel with an Oddyssey package. The vehicle is used by the departments line officers to establish Incident Command. The vehicle contains just about every resorce the officer will need to run an incident.
